Sustaineble Energy Day in Vinkovci

May 18. 2018. In the framework of the project SUECH, Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020, the Sustaineble Energy Day was held in Vinkovci, at the Elementary School Vladimira Nazora. This event was conceived as a series of workshops for elementary school students and the teachers of natural and technical subjects of elementary level.

Third, last, workshop within the project SUECH

Yesterday, 05.04.2018, in the premises of the County Chamber Osijek, was held the third, last, workshop within the project SUECH. The workshop was intended for all participants in energy reconstruction of buildings and those who are facing energy recovery. The lecturers were Davor Mrčela from Zavod za stanovanje Osijek, representative of the tenant building Sjenjak 101 Krešimir Ižaković, representative of Helion group Dejan Mikulić, Ana Pećar and Krešimir Pećar from Hidroenerga and Mario Falak in front of the company Fasader boja.

Cross-border conference within the framework of the project SUECH – 07.03.2018

Yesterday, 07.03.2018, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Osijek, a cross-border conference was held within the framework of the project SUECH funded by Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020 Cross-Border Cooperation Program. The participants were welcomed by representatives of all partners: the City of Osijek, the Association of EU Center, Renewable Energy Sources Osijek Ltd. and the Regional Development Agency of Slavonia and Baranja on the Croatian side, and the companies of Inno-Motive and the City of Kozarmisleny from Hungary. The lecturers were Dr Istvan Kistelegdi and Dr. Istvan Haber from the University of Pécs, Daniel Bence Szinyei from Go-Home Ltd., Damir Vidaković from Energo-day Ltd., Domagoj Vidaković from the EU Center, Dr. Hrvoje Glavaš and Hrvoje Krstić from the University of Osijek and Josip Petanović from Emasys Ltd.

Share of renewables in energy consumption in the EU reached 17% in 2016
Eleven Member States already achieved their 2020 targets

In 2016, the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final consumption of energy reached 17% in the European Union (EU), double the share in 2004 (8.5%), the first year for which the data are available.
